The COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenging time across the world. These trying times have triggered an outpouring of generosity and kindness among some Australians, Strata Communities and neighbors.
Style Apartments have shown kindness and positivity from Owners and Committee members during the COVID-19 pandemic by offering to drop off care packages for a Committee member who was required to self-isolate and was unable to leave their apartment.
At the Style Budget CTE Meeting, the members offered to drop off care package for one member who was in isolation.
Style Apartments is located in Highgate Hill, Brisbane. Style is a boutique development of 20 lots. The scheme is set back from the street in a quiet position to make the most of the parklands and river. The small tight knit community of Style apartments has been highlighted in these trying times.
One of the benefits of living in a Strata community is that you are part of a community. Style apartments showed how neighbors can come together in a time of crisis and provide assistance to members of their community in need.
What can you do to help your community?
If you would like to help out your neighbors in your community there are a few things we recommend:
- If you have elderly people in your community, you can offer to deliver their mail or deliver groceries.
- You can volunteer to assist in ensuring your building is safe from germs by doing things such as wiping down handrails or lift buttons.
- You can also help by refraining from touching anything in the common areas of your building.
- If you know people in your building are compromised, you can offer assistance where needed.
At SSKB we promote positive communities and understand the importance of communities coming together in times of crisis.
