Disputes
Disputes arise in community title scheme for many different reasons, whether it be regarding the by-laws (pets, noise, vehicles), maintenance, owner improvements or general meetings to name a few.
In the event of a dispute, in all cases the most advisable course is to put your issue in writing to the committee for your owners corporation so the matter may be raised at the next available meeting.
If the dispute is not speedily resolved you may consider contacting the Office of Fair Trading in accordance with the Strata Schemes Management Act 1996 and the Community Land Management Act 1989.
